A positive safety culture is critical to the well-being of a policyholder’s business and employees. As part of State Fund’s commitment to helping employers keep their workplaces safe, we are excited to announce the Be Their Hero campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to encourage employers and their employees to adopt a positive attitude about safety by reminding them who is relying on them to be safe.
Starting this month, we’ll send policyholders a Be Their Hero email each month containing a safety culture tip and encouraging them to visit SafeAtWorkCA.com, where they can find resources and guidance to help them build a positive safety culture. The emails will also provide them with campaign materials such as posters and paycheck stuffers so they can extend the campaign to their employees. Employers also have the opportunity to subscribe to receive more information via email.
Safety Culture content has been added to SafeAtWorkCA as well as a page devoted to the campaign where policyholders can subscribe and pick up campaign materials to extend the campaign to their employees. The pages offer resources, training, and tools for employers, including an interactive Safety Culture Assessment tool that generates a customized guide for the policyholder to build their safety culture.
