State Fund’s IIPP Builder℠ is a new online tool designed to help employers comply with the Cal/OSHA standard that requires them to have a written Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP).
Creating an effective IIPP can be a difficult and time-consuming task for business owners. State Fund’s IIPP Builder ℠ is a free online tool, available to all California employers, that makes a complicated task easy. Employers simply answer a series of questions in the app about what they know best—their business—and it produces a comprehensive IIPP specific to their business.
State Fund policyholders can save their IIPP in the app and come back to update or create new programs. Guest users can save their IIPPs created in the app as PDF documents on their computers.
Here’s what users have to say about State Fund’s IIPP Builder℠:
“Easy to navigate and understand.”
“It let me remind my employees about safety and inspire a safety mindset.”
“Quick and so much easier than I anticipated.”
Every California business must provide a safe and healthful workplace for employees. The IIPP is the employer’s plan for doing just that and tells employees about the safety policy where they work.
“State Fund’s IIPP Builder can help California businesses improve safety in their workplace, protect their employees, and save lives,” said Lauren Mayfield, SVP of Safety and Health Services.
You can help your clients make sure they have an IIPP in place by directing them to the IIPP Builder on our safety resource website, www.SafeAtWorkCA.com.
