State Fund hosted a new series of Employer Education seminars in October and November 2018. Attendees were highly engaged and eager to learn more about California’s workers’ compensation system.
We launched the new series with a Workers’ Comp Basics presentation, which included key topics such as how to report a claim, what is an MPN, and what to do for an audit. Included was a Q&A session to answer general questions, and we provided links for workers’ compensation information available on State Fund’s website.
Attendees were surveyed afterwards to discover which topics were of most interest for future seminars. Based on the feedback received, we’ll be conducting a new series of seminars starting in March 2019, and will add a new presentation on claims management.
All of us at State Fund are excited to offer these educational seminars in service to California’s employers. Our free seminars are available throughout the state and are open to the public.
